This my friends is the million dollar network marketing question. In network marketing, to sponsor new reps into your business meant you had to call your friends and family (Yuk!). Say hello to the 98% of my network marketing peeps out there (including me once) that are stuck in the “old way” of how to sponsor new reps into their business.

The 98% of network marketing folks dream about the 2% that made it! How do they sponsor new reps? How do they grow their business? How do they leverage the internet? Most importantly, why can’t I do this?! I know I can do it; but where do I start and who do I trust?!

What’s shocking is most of the advice, mentoring and training you will receive on how to sponsor new reps in your business; from people who are successful in the business is the same, old, outdated and loathed… “Make a list of friends and family”. Give them an unsolicited call and pretend that you’re really, really busy so you can fool them in being interested in your opportunity! This makes me nauseous!

No worries my friends! You’re just mentally stuck like I was. I knew deep down that the internet was the next step, the next generation of network marketing when it came to your business and how to sponsor new reps into your business. Network marketers will speak and recruit anyone with a heartbeat, anyone that shows interest because they are desperate to recruit someone, anyone! That desperation is not attractive to someone who is actually looking to purchase an opportunity. Ask yourself these questions; if you are an NFL football coach, where would you go to look for the very best players for your team? Would you look for them from your neighbor, waiter/waitress, mail courier, friends and family? No, you would look for people who want to play and already know how to play the game!
  2. Exposure – In network marketing you can have the best opportunity in the world. If you’re still using the old way of growing your business; calling friends, family and talk to anyone with a heartbeat, then your opportunity might as well be in the middle of the Mohave Desert. If you leverage the power of the internet to sponsor new reps in your business, that’s like having a 7-11 on the cross streets of your busiest intersection. People pouring in “looking” at what you have to offer.
  3. Relationship and automation – This is a must in network marketing. Without relationships you will never sponsor any new reps in your business.
